Putting positive mental health at the heart of railway leadership

Many working in our industry have been directly impacted by poor mental health connected to their work or personal lives, including losing colleagues to suicide. It’s not always easy to talk about mental health, but after a particularly difficult year, it’s more important than ever that we make sure everyone who needs support can get it.

Our chair, Ruth Busby from Great Western Rail, will be joined by a panel of senior leaders and the former General Secretary of the RMT, Mick Cash, to discuss why it is so important for leaders across the industry to promote positive mental health, what steps are being taken to support colleagues and what more can be done.
